Our Little Model

I have such talented friends. Whitney took your newborn baby pictures and they turned out perfect!

The skirt was a bit much for newborn..so I will try for 3 month shoot :) It was bigger than your entire body and made you cry because of the texture. Little princess being high maintenance!

This hat was knitted by your nanny.

Your feet are just precious!

Overall you cooperated for pictures, but you were fussy here and there. It was hard to choose a picture for your announcements, but I was happy with your announcement overall!

Happy BIRTH-Day round two!

Our family of four has arrived! It was a perfect delivery. Thank you to Aunt Lillipop and Aunt Nat for taking great post pictures.
Dr. Birch delivered both you and Turner. She is wonderful!

Our delivery nurse. This was her first time on morning shift and we were her first patients! She was very sweet and made the day wonderful as well!

Your brother wanted to just tickle tickle you. He thought it was hilarious :).

Proud Daddy!

These men above, Ellery, if you have an issue they will be there loaded in any second...and probably the reason you won't be able to date until you are 18. Sorry, girly!

I'm praying now you get your singing ability from Aunt Lillipop! She is one that will be teaching you many things that your momma can't - like style. Broadway here we come!

These three grandmas will teach you everything you need to know! And probably things I would rather you not know...:)

You will hear one day about your toes and fingers! I could have painted your fingernails that day they were so long. You have very long toes--too cute!

Your Aunt Nat will teach ya everything and anything! A phone call away and she will be there.

You got some pretty cool aunts and uncles! You will already be a flower girl before you are one in Aunt Nat and Uncle West's wedding next summer!

All the cute hats and bows you wear come from your great grandma! I hope you get her gene of crafting!

Aunt Nat and Grandmama helping getting you all dolled up!

Aunt Alicia loved meeting you! She got you your first pink John Deere attire!

Happy Birthday to you!!

Your BIRTH-Day!

September 24th was your BIRTH-Day! We were up and out the door before seven heading to the hospital. Grandmama came over to take Turner to school. Turner was SUPER excited that morning knowing he was meeting you today! The day could not have been more perfect. You were a little more high maintenance while I was pregnant with you than with your brother. Just a few things- I had to go to the hospital on two separate unplanned times due to DR concerned about certain things. Both times it all came back perfectly fine. One of them I fainted at home! I think I just sat too long. You were very active from 8pm-midnight most of the time, so I couldn't get to sleep until then. Each visit to DR you always had a strong heartbeat and measuring right on schedule.

Back to your day!

Grandpapa arrived shortly after we were there. He couldn't wait any longer to wait some more. The rest of the fam started to trickle in as the day approaches. Dr. Birch said you would delivery quickly...and she was right! You were born at 1:41 pm, weighing 6 lbs. 11 oz and 19 inches long. You were beautiful and I loved that day! Below are the pictures that capture your day. To keep tradition alive, your Aunt Lillipop was in the room videoing and taking pictures. She said when I was halfway pushing, I looked at her and asked her to be sure and take some still shots of it all :). You will come to realize your momma loves the camera! The family couldn't wait to meet you!

Let me explain your wonderful family! We call them the village because we are so blessed to have such wonderful family on both sides! You will come to find out very soon how lucky you are on the wonderful grandparents and aunts and uncles you have. You had a waiting room filled with grandparents anxiously awaiting your arrival, an Aunt Lillipop who took video and pictures through it all, Aunt Nat who took a 1/2 day off because she just couldn't miss it and then an Unk who hung with your Bro all day and had a sleepover..and many others who couldn't wait to meet you!

Grandmama sending us off at sunrise! She wore pink in your honor.

Technology these days..this is the monitor that shows us my contractions and such. After a period of time, it closes down. This is the entertainment while we wait, so Daddy was on mouse alert in order for it not to shut down. But don't worry! After awhile I was feeling those contractions without seeing that monitor and I knew it was time.

Some needed some shut eye before the big arrival!

Turner was SUPER excited and entertained the family while waiting.

IS she here?!?! IS she here?!?!

What an exciting morning!
