9 Months

Happy 9 Months!!

We love taking our pictures in the chair. We make it such a fun time. We play in your room...read books, play with the blocks and take some pictures!

You will sit pretty proper like a lady for awhile...but then you are ready to plop around. You are still not really crawling yet, but just relaxing and sitting.

4th of July

 Happy 4th of July! What a splendid day! We celebrated by going to the park and then to a family gathering at Mandy's.

We got all dressed up for the 4th! You were not scared of firecrackers one bit. 

Your brother was excited to celebrate the 4th with you as well!

Ten Months

You are so fun! You will sit on the floor and play for a long time. You are crawling quickly. 

You helped me water Aunt Nat's plants in July. You love water. You will stare at it amazed and play in it for hours! 

While I was getting you dressed, your brother took many selfies with my camera. You laugh the hardest at your brother! 

You always love to have something in your hands! 

This is about the last time you are able to sit on my bed with your whole crawling thing. You would just sit on the bed while I picked up my room or got ready. That ship has sailed. 

July 23rd- 2014

You came by work with me for a bit! You are pretty good at running around with me. In the car you love to play with your toes and talk to us. You have always been fun in the car and stares out the window or lean over to watch your bro! 

Happy ten months!! This is one of my favorite dresses! Shugie got it for you. 

July 24! Summer days almost over. You seem to enjoy outside (especially your swing) at ten moths you are a happy baby who will do anything we do. You sleep good at night except you wiggle a lot your sleep so monitor goes off a lot, so not much sleep for daddy and me. You love your snacks and still enjoying all veggies we feed you.

The Dogs

We love our dogs. You and Turner will follow him around (posh him around too) Hooch is pretty good at chilling. Popo sleeps a lot now since he's an older dog, but he'll come play some to get tummy rubs. 

I think this is popo's perspective. 

And the dogs love how you chunk food on the floor! I love the face you give me. You'll quickly chunk it on the floor without taking your eyes off me. And then you'll do a slight grin. :)

Your Name

I love your name. I take forever to settle on names. I go through every scenario. Your first name I never heard until I was introduced to Turner's afternoon teacher. It just kept coming back to me. Kaye is Grandmama's middle name. I have known for many years if I had a girl, I was going to use her middle name. I was also throwing around the idea of Aniston Kaye or Annie Kaye. My middle name is Ann so I was blending it and your mom is somewhat a FRIENDS fan. I then started hearing others name their child Aniston so I thought it was becoming too trendy (and your daddy we not fond of it) I also thought Aniston and Addison were so close. Annie was a very, very close second, but I just wanted something with a little uniqueness (probably has to do with how I'm Katy and there's always another katy around. I do love my name, though!) I also love the musical Annie. I did have someone in our community name her girl who is a few months older than you Anna Kaye. Anna and Ann are very popular right now, so I decided I wanted to go a different route. 

Ellery Kaye Seifritz. I thought if you ended up not liking Ellery (which I hope you try and keep it :). You could go by Elle or Ellie. I personally like Elle more so, but whatever you decide!

Saturday with Brother

We love family fun day. We will lounge, eat breakfast and watch shows. You kids still like to get up very early even on weekends, which I'm totally ok with because it means more time to spend with you two! 

I just laugh at these pictures. The angle I took them makes you look huge. Tman was wanting to hold you while watching tv. 

Your hair is getting longer and having more whispies. 

You love silly faces. I love how when you are playing with your play musical phone, when it says "say cheese!" You do a big grin. I wish it could take some real pictures because they are the best smiles!

I love being a momma to you and Tman BUT I adore being an Auntie Katy!! I was an auntie before I was a momma!
